Dear Diane,
I am sorry I haven't written. I just got out of the hospital. I was in there 2 weeks. I came down with the shingles on my right side of my face, head forehead. It is so painful I can't believe it. Usually you get it around you waist or back. Its rare to get it on your eye and head, Since my Joey it just feels like I am just going down hill. I pray everyday for every one and I just don't know, I am lost for words.
Plus Feb. 14th is my anniversary--------40 years. it feels like forever!
Like I said I do not celebrate any hoilday. Thank you for writing to Joey, Even though I was not able to. I just got home yesterday.
Remember I am still praying for you and your Mom.
Sometimes you just need your Mom. I know how much you miss her. Remember what I said she is with you everyday.

Dear Diane,
I am so sorry I have not written, I have been ill. You and your Mom are in my daily prayers. Thank you for continuing to write to Joey it means so much to me. I talk to Joey everyday and that does help me.
I was thinking so much when I was so sick and I know it must be just terrible without your Mom here with you. As you grow and become an adult it seems like a daughter needs her Mom so much. I know when we are little we fight and say things that we don't mean but as we get older we need our Mom.
Diane, your Mom is with you everyday and she see's what a great person with a big heart you have become. She is smiling down at you always!!!
