Hi Mom
Well today is Billy's birthday as you well know - you would be trying to find the birthday card that you bought for him months ago - I know you still can't find it so you will have to run out to the store & of course get another!! You always did that - then when you weren't looking for it - there it was!! Do you know how many birthday - anniversary ect. cards that we found when we were cleaning out the house??!!! There were alot of things we found that made us laugh & cry!! And some things we weren't too sure about??!! Soon it's going to be one year from the day you left us!! It wasn't the same going through my birthday without you around! I'm sure it's the same with Billy - actually all of us - Sharon in Dec & Lisa last month!! Nothing is the same!! Never will be again without you!!

It comforts me to know that Claire is certainly in the presence of the Lord and is in a place of everlasting peace and unimaginable beauty. She lived her life with grace, dignity, and compassion. I will never forget the kindness she showed to me and my children. I remember her buying my first child (Alfredo) his first pair of "good" shoes from StrideRite. I also remember Lisa bringing me bags full of beautiful outfits that Claire had picked up for my twin girls when they were born. Claire was all heart, and it wasn't just material things she gave. She gave of herself and kept us in her prayers. She truly cared. I pray that my family and I and the loved ones Claire left behind all come to or continue to have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus so we too can be secure in knowing we will be in her loving presence again one day. I'm sure she would agree.

Jim & I just got back from VA - I am so used to calling you to tell you we're home safe - so instead I'll write to you!! I just wish we could hear your voice one more time!! We all miss you so much!! I wish you could have met your new great grandaugther Jillian Claire - of course she has your name - we miss & love you always!! I just wanted to say hi - Love Diane
